The Georgia Association of Paralegals (GAP) is a charter member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA). NFPA is currently comprised of fifty-four local paralegal associations in five regions across the United States. As a member of GAP, you are automatically a member of NFPA. NFPA to Present Awards and Scholarships to Leaders of the Paralegal ProfessionThe National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) is currently accepting applications and nominations for its annual awards and scholarships. These awards and scholarships will be presented to outstanding paralegals and paralegal students at the 2008 NFPA Annual Convention in October in Rogers, Arkansas. Awards and scholarships presented include The Hon. William R. Robie Leadership Award, National Paralegal of the Year Award, Outstanding Local Leader Award, PACE Ambassador Award, Association Pro Bono Award, Individual Pro Bono Award, two Thomson-West Scholarships and a PACE Scholarship Award, with sponsorship.
